Before Karem, I was a graduate research assistant under Ilan Kroo at Stanford University. There, I helped design, build, and fly a prototype modular UAV for the NASA LEARN2 program. That experience solidified my belief that efficient engineering is rooted in a solid understanding of first-principles, especially when exploring seemingly unintuitive phenomena. In my spare time, I enjoy learning new skills and tools, bicycling, hiking, tinkering, coding, GA flying, and visiting local museums. Overair
