  Hello! I am a theatre and film director, writer and producer who also works in education. After reading English at Trinity College, Cambridge, I completed the Trainee Resident Director course at the King’s Head Theatre. In 2019, I was awarded Project Phakama’s Young Artist Bursary. I have directed and assistant directed at venues of different scales across the UK, including the Arcola Theatre, Warwick Arts Centre and the Southbank Centre; and my work has been called ‘Genius’ (The Skinny) ‘Incredibly compelling’ (The Guardian) and 'memorable and bold' (The Reviews Hub). In 2023, I won Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Keep It Fringe Fund for Healing King Herod, a one person comedy show, which I directed and co-wrote with performer Riss Obolensky. We have had successful runs of the show across the UK, including a sell-out run at VAULT Festival, a preview at Soho Theatre, and headline show at Underbelly as part of the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. My first short film, Sad Leaves, is currently being submitted to festivals. A qualified teacher, I have worked extensively in a variety of education settings. Growing up with children and young people with complex social and learning needs, I was inspired to bring my passions for creativity and communication together to train as a primary school teacher. After leading the Drama department at an independent school, I worked as a Pro Mentor at Oppidan Education.
