In my current position, I have spent the past few years continually asking the questions, “What is the problem we are trying to solve? How do we know it’s a problem? And how will we know we succeeded?” I have asked these questions directly, through discovery, in Human-Centered-Design facilitated sessions, by shadowing customer experiences, by challenging our data partners to quantify a business problem, by connecting siloed teams in our organization and showing them that they are attempting to solve for the same problem in two different spheres. This approach has earned me a favorable reputation as a strategic connector and savvy business partner. I believe strongly in target-oriented organization and empowering team members in order to ensure success, cooperation and achievement of individual and team goals. I practice self-reflection and seek open communication with colleagues to ensure successful collaboration. I am passionate about mentorship: I manage my subordinates with mindfulness, and strive to be an example of the diligence and hard work I demand of them. I have been working and volunteering in dynamic diverse communities my entire adult life.
