Erik Lohse’s Expertise After studying electrical engineering, specializing in software engineering, I began my professional career at Basler AG in the area of hardware-related software development for image processing. In 2004 I took over the product management for the test systems for quality control of display glass, later the product portfolio was expanded to include testing in the production of thin-film modules. In 2009 there were first points of contact with the still very young photovoltaic industry. At the end of 2010 I left Basler AG and founded MBJ Services together with MBJ Solutions, with the focus on developing a mobile PV laboratory that did not exist on the market before. The prototype was presented at Intersolar in 2011, and in 2012 MBJ Services won the internationally renowned Intersolar Award in the "Photovoltaics" category for this new and innovative product. At the beginning of 2020 I switched to the mother company MBJ Solutions, wher I took care of the key accounts in the solar industry. Over the past 10 years I have established myself as an internationally recognized expert in testing solar modules. During this time I was able to gain an in-depth understanding of the challenges and requirements for testing on both the installation and production side of the solar modules. Since 2018 I have been a member of the DKE standardization and working group 373.0.10 for solar cells, wafers and modules (This group is working on IEC standards). With this background I am now at the Enerparc AG responsible for the quality management.
