Farzana Zaki’s Expertise With over eight years of research experience in optical coherence tomography incorporating various data science tools, both academically and professionally, I am passionate about employing data analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights and deliver solutions in various domains. I have led and completed end-to-end data-driven projects, from problem formulation to solution deployment, resulting in significant optimization. My skills and knowledge include programming languages such as Python, SQL, and MATLAB, statistical analysis techniques (regression, hypothesis testing, and time series analysis), data analysis methods such as exploratory data analysis, data wrangling, and data visualization (Tableau, Python libraries, and IBM Cognos Analytics), machine learning techniques like regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning. As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern at Radical AI, I am leveraging cutting-edge technologies from OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Langchain for open-source projects that aim to use AI responsibly to make technology accessible and to improve global education and social mobility. I am currently involved in developing Kai, an open-source AI Teaching Assistant designed to support educators worldwide. By providing tools for instructional design, content development, and assessment management, Kai helps streamline educational tasks, making them more efficient and accessible. As a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative professional, I thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Currently, I am seeking a challenging opportunity in a data scientist/research scientist role that will allow me to leverage my data science expertise and contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative organization.
