Frank Davenport’s Expertise I am a researcher at the Climate Hazards Group located within the Geography Department at the University of California Santa Barbara. My work focuses on analyzing food systems and how those systems influence food security. My ongoing research examines how weather shocks influence food prices, production, and outcomes such as birth weight and child stunting. Prior to my research career, I was a GIS Analyst and Strategic planner, implementing enterprise GIS and Decision support systems for environmental agencies in California, Panama, and Abu Dhabi.
