Frank completed a successful year as Interim Lead Pastor at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church, evaluating and reconfiguring their staff of ten , coaching them in start up of a small group ministry of 12 groups, introducing some new music in worship, while conducting a Mission Exploration Team study that set up two Call Teams that successfully called a new Lead Pastor and new Associate Pastor by the end of that year. In July, 2017, Frank premiered his new Jazz Liturgy: Rise Up! A Jazz Liturgy of Hope, in Milwaukee and Hartland Wisconsin, to overflow crowds, with 15 in the Jazz band, and a flash mob choir. He also successfully completed an interim pastorate at Our Savior's in Hartland. Frank recently served as Interim pastor and coach at St John’s Lutheran Church, Brookfield, WI, and continued on afterward as coach, preacher, mentor, and small group pastor.
