  My insurance career began in 1989 as a motor/household underwriter for GRE (now AXA) where I was for 6 years until the Liverpool office relocated to Manchester. In 2006 I moved to Marsh based out of their Leeds office, however 9 months into the role I was approached by a former colleague and offered a Senior Account Managers (incl account executive tasks) position at Alexander Forbes (now Lockton LLP) based out of their Manchester office which was undergoing significant restructure at the time. As I was moving house to the Manchester area already I jumped at the opportunity and stayed there for a long and loyal 16 years, specialising in their biggest construction and retail accounts. (Eric Wright Group, Iceland Foods, Park Group and TSK Group). I had a “Mentor” role to junior staff as well as assisting in the role out of Lockton Due Diligence Practice in Manchester. In 2011 during my time at Lockton my personal circumstances changed with the birth of my son and so I began working part-time 30 hours a week. I thrive on providing excellent client service and focus on the pro-active approach which was demonstrated by a one - two day a week insurance manager secondment role at one of my largest clients Eric Wright Group which I undertook for 9 years whilst at Lockton. April 2022 sees me on the move to Marsh and I look forward to a new and exciting challenge! I have always been employed within insurance working for either Insurers and Brokers.
