I really like the Native American proverb “Those who tell the stories rule the world”. I think storytelling, done well, can be extremely powerful. A good story can transport you to another place, like a far away corner of the world, or a past point in history. I had a passion for telling and hearing stories long before I knew I wanted to work in Communications . It’s probably why I loved studying Drama so much when I was a schoolgirl, and why I’m now addicted to Netflix! I see now in business too, how the art of good storytelling can help people think, act and feel differently. If that’s not power, then I don’t know what is. I'm also very passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion. I firmly believe that everyone deserves the same opportunity to live a full and authentic life and I'm committed to supporting those people and groups who are underrepresented and disadvantaged. This is what gives me purpose and gets me out of bed in the morning.
