He served as President of UAM Fund Services and two other wholly-owned subsidiaries of United Asset Management (acquired by Old Mutual in 2000) from 1995 to 2001. Old Mutual Asset Managers owned a number of affiliated investment advisory firms which had approximately 187 billion in assets under management at the time they were acquired from United Asset Management. From 1990 to 1995, Gary was with Fidelity Investments where he served as Senior Vice President in charge of Fund Accounting and later, as Treasurer of the Fidelity Group of mutual funds.
