George Gogashvili’s Expertise I am a retired Brigadier General from the Georgian armed forces, actively participated in buildup of Georgian defense and security system, and have 20 years of working experience in defense and security strategy management. After my retirement, I started working for Silknet, - a Georgian leading telecommunications company in providing mobile, fixed line telephony, internet and TV services. My education and working experience helped me to succeed in developing some processes and functions in Silknet, such as information security; safety; communication quality control; fraud management and revenue assurance. During this period of time, the division, under my leadership, succeeded to design and implement an in-house developed cost effective analytical tools and programs that helped us to stop different types of fraud attacks and saved company and its customers from considerable loses. Within the framework of IT transformation strategy, I actively participated in new OSS BSS implementation processes. Currently, I coordinate company’s resources and activities to implement the standards of the Information Security Management System according to new legislation of Georgia.
