He has considerable experience in European Union’s technology transfer, environmental education / training and regional development Programs and Initiatives. In 2005 he founded the non governmental – not for profit international organization “Team for the world; environmental alliance 2004+” involved in environment and sustainable development in co operation with national and international agencies and organizations, having amongst its targets, the promotion of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the link between sport and the environment and the promotion of peace through sport and environmnent. Since 2019, he has been appointed as the Chairman of the International Marathon’s Association (AIMS) Sustainability Commission. Since 2021, he is the Environment and Sustainability Officer of the WRC EKO ACROPOLIS RALLY, taking place in Greece.
