His strong desire to help CBA's customers, his long term experience in the finance industry and his passion for the job, help Gerrit in assisting his team delivering innovative banking solutions to the Bank's customers. His ultimate aim is for the CBA to act as a partner to their customers’ businesses, adding value to the relationship and helping his team members achieving their goals. In 2003 and 2008 respectively, Gerrit complimented his Batchelor of Economics degree, with a Diploma in Mortgage Lending at the Securities Institute of Australia (SIA), being awarded a National Dux, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment at the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA), of which he became a Fellow member.
