He currently serves as President of Union Square Station Associates (US2) located in Somerville, Massachusetts (www.discoverusq.com). US2 is the City of Somerville’s master developer partner for the state-approved Union Square Revitalization Project. That project includes over 17 acres and 2.7 million square feet of transit-oriented mixed-use development near the future Union Square MBTA Green Line Station. US2 is collaborating with the community to create a vital and viable redevelopment plan for Union Square that realizes the community objectives as laid out in Somerville’s long-term plan, SomerVision. In roles with Mesirow Financial and Hines, Greg’s responsibilities included deal sourcing, underwriting, planning, financing and executing large-scale mixed-use, office and residential opportunistic investments. He also has demonstrated expertise in management of cross-functional teams, strategic planning, analysis, and investor relations. Greg’s perspective is shaped, in part, by a Fellowship at World Business Chicago that focused on tackling economic development challenges. Greg also served as an adjunct professor at Notre Dame where he taught a real estate course that he developed to undergraduates and MBAs. He earned a MBA from Kellogg and a BS in Civil Engineering from Notre Dame.
