The second was analyzing feedback, identifying and pursuing action items, working collaboratively with teams across the company. Doing so not only began the process of using customer feedback to drive business decisions but also cultivated a customer-centric culture. Currently, I work for Colonial Life, a leader in the supplemental insurance industry as a Customer Research Manager. Initially hired as a Senior Customer Experience Research Analyst, I was given the opportunity to lead the Voice of the Customer program. Managing a small team and building a VoC program from scratch has meant working with teams and stakeholders across the organization to plan, build, and deploy touchpoint surveys, along with relationship surveying and ad hoc research. Ultimately, the VoC program seeks to help inform new development, identify areas of opportunity, understand the impact of new deployments or changes, and help drive a deeper understanding of persistency.
