As a Deputy Manager i had the opportunity to perform the following roles. - Planned IFRS audits, led listed and limited company’s audits, conducted initial planning meetings with clients to understand and co-develop expectations and designed audit strategies in consultation with Engagement Partner. - Using a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the business area. Data analytics for the client understanding and planning and for the clear execution of audit Procedure. - Undertook fieldwork management and reviewed the work performed by team members for quality, relevance and Accuracy. Liaised with clients on all matters identified during the course of audits including reclassification and potential adjustments. Prepared deliverables including audit and review reports, letters to those charged with governance, audit committee presentations, certificates and management letters. - Assisted the engagement managers and senior managers in risk management procedures for client acceptance / continuance, preparing time budgets, monitoring engagement finances including WIP and engagement profitability and planned staff resources for efficient job management. - Conducted hard-close audits for deadline clients and met stringent deadlines for multi-location audits.
