Ifthikar ’s Expertise A drummer (Tripple Congo) from Calicut. Leader of the Music troupe called 'Thallam Orchestra' which performed the highest number of programs in Calicut during 1980s, and it had many best local performers, some of them are now well known music directors. Same time played for almost all the other well-known troups of Calicut. First Program in 1975 while studying in 8th standard. Since 1986 All Iinda Radio, Doordarshan Artist. The same year played for the first movie songs recording. 1993 April came to Gulf. Just three days before leaving Calicut, conducted a Thallam Orchestra Program and two days before played for another orchestra. After coming to Abu Dhabi till getting a job, played for few programs with the amateurs. Later, played only for a couple of programs in Gulf and the last one was in May 2009 for which Jaychandran, Vidu Prathap, Sujatha, Shwetha etc. were the singers. A couple of years back during a vacation, played for a Rafi Night Program by Anil Bajpayee at Chennai which was inaugurated by the great M.S. Viswanathan. During another vacation conducted Thallam's old songs program at Calicut. In 2009 August played for playback singer Ms. Ambili's newly formed Orchestra’s inaugural program at Trivandrum, where many respected music directors and singers including Hariharan, Shiva Mani were present. 2011 December played for Ms. Ambilli's devotional songs program at Guruvayoor for which the main singer was the great P. Susheela.
