I am also actively participating in all the ICID (International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage) activities and have been contributing in the Working Groups. I worked in the On-farm Irrigation Systems Working Group from 2013 to 2015 and received the Best Working Group Award. I have also been working in the Value Engineering Working Groups (WG-VE) and am currently the Secretary of the Sustainable On-farm Working Group (WG-SOF). I have also kept myself abreast with the latest technology in the field of irrigation by participating in relevant international seminar and conferences. I have participated and presented papers in all the relevant international irrigation conferences including the First World Irrigation Forum, Mardin (Oct 2013); Second Asia Pacific Water Summit, Cheng Mai (May 2013); the International Conference on Irrigation Revitalization in the Asia and Pacific Region (March 2013), Nanjing; Second World Irrigation Forum (Nov 2016) and Third World Irrigation Forum, Bali, (Sep 2019). I also have a list of publications to my credit and have also been engaged in reviewing international technical papers.
