Jackie Oehlschlager’s Expertise Hi! I am an HR professional with a servant heart who helps others gain success on their journey through their career and giving my best in every situation. I began my career as a high school business teacher and knew being in the classroom for 30 years would not be my career path. I obtained my MS-HRM while working as a college and career readiness grant facilitator and knew that creating a happy workplace was my career focus. I started offering executive administrative and HR consulting services remotely to C-suite executives and small business owners in 2015. Serving people is what I excel at and love. I pride myself on being trustworthy and dependable. I strive to grown and learn daily on my HR journey. I joined in the US Air Force Reserves in 2021 after a decade of wanting to but letting barriers and detours change my route. Serving my country as a Reservist is a fulfilling opportunity; I'm proud of each day I put on the uniform. When not actively serving in the Air Force, my focus is to understand the HR needs of small business owners fully. I create robust policies, training and development plans, offer career coaching for employees, and write talent acquisition packages that include job descriptions, job advertisements, telephone interview questions, and onsite/zoom job-specific behavior interview questions. Not all small business owners need an HR employee, but they all need the HR infrastructure and talent acquisition. I provide what they need allowing them to focus on their business' success. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, going on adventures near home, and most recently obtained my NASM personal trainer certification to explore helping others learn to live and love a healthy lifestyle.
