I am passionate about utilizing my architectural skills to help shape a better environment and find solutions, especially for those facing physical, emotional, or economic challenges. My focus on healthcare design has enabled me to work closely with medical professionals to create built spaces that inspire and promote physical and psychological healing. I am especially proud to have served on the Board of Trustees for Veterans Memorial in Columbus, Ohio. Helping veterans advocate for a facility to memorialize their experiences and be a therapeutic respite from post-traumatic stress has been gratifying and humbling. Serving on the City of Columbus Downtown Commission is also an experience I highly value. The Commission is the downtown district's design review body. I am honored to be involved Columbus's flourishing urbanism that promotes balanced growth, diversity, and creative design excellence. What I have learned over time: • A good architect is a good listener. • You become larger than yourself when you are a team. • No task is too daunting if you are willing to wholeheartedly commit to it.
