This extremely exciting project required me to put out the international call for submissions, handle PR for the commission award event, achieve coverage of the work as it unfolded and publicise the installation of Ascalon. St George’s Art is an annual exhibition of works by talented WA high school students. My job (2009 and 2010) was to produce the detailed program, attract visitors throughout the week and publicise the awards. Rosalie Writers Festival - I was a founder of the state’s first primary school annual writers festival involving several well known authors, responsible for promotion, presenter liaison and organising a key evening event with speakers such as Kate McCaffrey, Craig Silvey and Eoin Cameron.
