Highlights of my accomplishments include: --Led Harrah's Rincon property through an amazing 13-year transition that included the first hotel tower to the two-tower resort that is one of the most successful gaming palaces in California--with 1,700 employees, 1,065 hotel rooms, a large gaming experience, and hundreds of millions in annual revenue. --Oversaw the construction and grand opening of Harrah's Rincon's 168 million expansion in 2004, as well as its 2014 160 million expansion, and subsequent rebranding to Harrah's' Resort Southern California. --Opened and managed the first Indian gaming venture for Harrah's (Ak-Chin) in Phoenix, and led it through nine successive years of growth, including the development of a hotel in 2001. --Established long-lasting partnerships with two Native American tribes, leading successive renewal negotiations of five-year term management agreements to operate properties on tribal lands. --Selected as Chair of the Caesars Foundation--a private foundation funded by resorts owned or operated by the Caesars group for seven consecutive years, furthering one of its principal strategic areas of giving nationally and internationally--senior-related issues.
