Jasna Gara’s Expertise LA based singer, composer-performer and digital producer. 📍Currently working at LA Opera as mainstage Production Manager, responsible for managing over 150 artist personnel a season. Since moving to the United States from Serbia, I have performed and collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Bill Whelan (Riverdance), Valerie Simpson (Ashford & Simpson), Terri Lyn Carrington, Geri Allen, Theodosii Spassov, and had performances at venues such as Boston Symphony Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Paramount Theatre and others. I also served as the creative director of CalArts Digital Arts Expo and was the CalArts teaching artist at Watts Towers Arts Center, in Watts, CA. In 2023, I founded a non-profit organization "Mothers in Music", which has a mission to advance creative and career opportunities for mothers working in the music industry.
