The company grew very fast as did the workload and was still booming until the banking crisis of 2007 led the American owners to call time on its European operation. I then went back into engineering with Stm Engineering employed as a machinist mainly on work for the off shore industry but also fitting work on ships engines and generators working in the workshop and on sites throughout the UK I had 8 years there before excepting a role at Adams Ltd working on test procedures in metrology working to BS and Asme specs. Unfortunately the massive downturn in the oil and gas sector led to my position being axed after six months due to no work I have now gone self-employed and enjoying a new lease of life and variety of jobs rates available on request Asams
