Jason Silverii’s Expertise I drive communications and media planning and execution for professional services firms. During a time of significant change and transition for the legal profession, I have managed the communications and media strategy for a top-tier firm with global ties and a major independent Australian firm. This has included responsibility over internal communications, media, client communications, thought leadership, marketing content and social media. One of my strengths is delivering positive change. The way communications is performed and delivered is constantly changing so the need to adapt is vital. I also look to contribute to the culture of the place at which I work. In previous roles I have held positions on the firm's Innovation Action Group and Pride Committee. I began in professional services communications after a decade covering the legal industry as a journalist at Australia's highest-selling newspaper and at a leading legal journal. My work was recognised with the Victoria Law Foundation's Legal Reporter of the Year award in 2004. Outside of work, I am a keen lawn bowler and have twice been the chairman of a large bowls club in Melbourne's northern suburbs. I am also a long-standing member of the Essendon Football Club and various theatre groups.
