I am currently instructing at the Woodstock Dundas club. My 2nd Passion outside of law enforcement is the fitness industry. I love the positive environment of having fun and making a difference in people's lives through fitness. December 2018, I came up with the idea to create a non for profit organization called PTSD First Responders Extended Network (PTSD1REN). The primary focus of this organization is to hold the annual golf tournament to raise money for mental health and P TSD initiatives. On July 13th 2018 we have our 1st successful golf tournament at Pine Knot golf course. We raised 3700 for the Canadian mental health association Oxford county. PTSD1REN has since aligned our partnership with Boots on the Ground, a peer support service for 1st responders from peers. I am currently a volunteer for boots on the ground as a pier providing peer support. Law enforcement is not only my career but also a Passion. I hope I can make a small difference through volunteering and raising money for such a great organization that supports our 1st responders and puts them 1st. If there's one thing I've learned in my working life is always keep the door open to opportunities and options as you never know what is on the other side of those doors. Goodlife Fitness
