  I have been in the water distribution/wastewater collection, of some form, for over 3 decades. I started with a private contractor in 1990 as a laborer and pipe layer and worked my way to an equipment operator/field foreman. In 1997 I began my municipal work with the City of Longview, where I started as a field operator. I then went on to become a field lead and eventually Water Quality Supervisor. During this time I had the privilege to learn a great portion of my supervisor/management skills while assisting with the start and entagration of a new water treatment plant. Around this time I also became an instructor for a Washington State training facility where I have tight a wide range of water/wastewater courses. Later I became the Utility Manager for Longview, overseeing the water distribution, wastewater collection and water treatment for the region. In 2017 I took a position for City of Olympia where I managed the drinking water distribution system. I decided to expand my career and traveled across country, in 2022 to take a position as Water Resource Manager for Town of Palm Beach. I really enjoy my career as a public servant and helping to resolve issue while supplying great customer service to those that I serve.
