Jeremy Clarke’s Expertise Jeremy graduated from Salford University in England in 1976 with a B.Sc. in Engineering Metallurgy. He has also completed various Executive Development Programmes. His broad experience includes operations management, project management, executive management and consultancy with De Beers Consolidated Mines and Anglo American Corporation culminating in his appointment as the Consulting Metallurgist for De Beers. In this post he was responsible for all processing plants and projects across the De Beers group worldwide. Subsequent to his corporate career Jeremy has been responsible for the business and executive management of four junior mining companies in the diamond, gold, emerald and copper industries. This necessitated fund raising and public listing of these companies in the Canadian and English markets. The experience provides Jeremy with a substantial capability to bridge the divide between major, mid-tier and juniors in the mining industry and thereby to develop unique solutions to their respective challenges. He is a registered European Engineer, a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
