  I am an entrepreneur, visual artist, and musician born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. I graduated from Concord High School in 2001. I attended the Delaware College of Art & Design (DCAD) as an Illustration Major and graduated with an Associates in Fine Arts in 2003. Ultimately I opted not to continue on to obtain my Bachelors degree at Pratt for financial reasons. From 2003 until 2011 I worked a wide variety of jobs. I did landscaping for a prominent Delaware family, and I sold digital cameras at both Ritz Camera and Circuit City for several years where I enjoyed the challenge of sales as well as working with people. I sold cell phone contract from a kiosk in the middle of Owings Mills Mall for a time period which led to a job as a loan officer for a mortgage company. I also worked at WSFS bank for a period of time as a bank teller where I discovered a love of coin collecting, much to the chagrin of my co-workers who I bugged daily to buy their change drawers to hunt through them for wheat pennies. A battle with Lyme took me out of the work force around 2009. Turns out I had gotten infected with Lyme while working that landscaping job, and it went undiagnosed for six years before I found a doctor that would treat me based on my symptoms. While I was out of work I discovered I could sell the wheat pennies I'd been hoarding on eBay, my first entrepreneurial idea. I grew up in a family of drummers watching my dad play drums in various bands from punk rock to polka. My younger brother and older brother are also drummers. I made the decision around 2010 that I wanted to pursue music, I took a job at Accent Music because I wanted to be around other music makers. While working that job I offered to help a customer Gayle Dillman who turned out to become one of the most important people in my life offering me partnership in a business, Gable Music Ventures. I co-owned and ran Gable from 2011-2021 when I decided to step away from the business for personal reasons. In 2020 I started Hebbel Portraits offering custom hand drawn portraits to a variety of customers while Gable was temporarily shut down due to COVID. Currently I work as a National portrait artist for INTO LIGHT Project, an organization working to change the conversation about addiction, and reduce the stigma that those suffering from substance use disorder and their families experience. Additionally I manage the social media for the organization. I have been in recovery from addiction for five and a half years. I live in Wilmington with my wife Noelle and our infant daughter.
