Jeremy Slate’s Expertise I graduated in December 2013 with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK. This was after I successfully completed two full-time internships with Clear Channel Media & Entertainment, Radio Division where I was trained and supervised by the Director of Engineering & IT - Tulsa Market. Clear Channel sponsered my senior design project of a microproessor based tower, phasor, and transmitter controller. Details on the project below. I accepted an Engineering position with iHeart Media in San Francisco, CA. The primary focus was on full studio renovations including on-air studios, mix, voice-track, and production rooms. I was also accepted into the MEMDEV, or Market Engineering Manager Development Program, where I follow a self-directed Individual Development Plan to develop the skills needed to expand my career. After moving back to Texas, I accepted an Engineering position at Broadcast Works. By being a part of both their A/V and Broadcast Departments, I have been succesful in advancing my radio education while simultaneously expanding into the audio/visual field. In the A/V world, I act as the job site forman fulfilling duties such as reading technical one-lines, managing cable pulls, handling technical equipment install, some programming of Crestron, BSS, Symmetrix, and Bi-Amp systems thrown in. Performance arts and technology centers involving networked based audio systems are the most common sites under my supervision. Design Project: Microprocessor based Antenna, Transmitter, and Phasor Controller. C++ Programmed PIC18 Processor to switch a 5-tower AM array into proper broadcasting patterns of Day, Night, and Non-directional while interfacing with a Relio Remote Monitoring System so that the unit could be controlled remotely, as well as provide status. This unit replaced the Ladder-Logic controller previously installed, and currently remains installed and functioning at the AM Array in Tulsa, Oklahoma
