I am currently an HR Service Center Administrator focusing on Process Improvement/Metrics & Analytics for Apollo Education Group. Apollo Education Group is playing a leadership role in higher education and pioneers higher education for the working learner through its technological investment. University of Phoenix, Apollo’s flagship institution, follows this credo and serves the working learner who is juggling career, family and earning an education. I have worked my way up from an HR Clerk at Macy’s Credit and Customer Services where I was lucky enough to have worked under Colleen Bell. Colleen was a wonderful manager who was invested in all of her direct reports and truly cultivated an empowered department. It was under her leadership that I realized I could be successful in Human Resources! Since then, I have gained experience in Payroll Processing, Benefits Administration, Leave of Absence Administration, Talent Acquisition and most recently Knowledge Base Implementation. I love testing and working with new systems and creating processes. I have a friendly demeanor and have been told that I am very approachable (which in my experience with other HR professionals is nothing out of the ordinary). I am dedicated to provide my business partners with responsive support, sound advice and when need be, a trusted sounding board.
