This prestigious prize is awarded to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the city of Amsterdam. She owes her reputation to her appearance in several Dutch Theatre Productions such as 'Faja', 'De Koningin van Paramaribo', 'Mathurin Meets Music' , 'the Vagina Monologues', 'A Raisin in the Sun' and 'Beneatha’s Place'
