Jim Isenhour’s Expertise After 54 years of constant work, from my first job dipping ice cream cones at Basking Robbins at age 13 to sailing halfway around the world in the US Navy to the last 23 years at Tiger Natural Gas, Inc., it is time to retire. I have experienced some health issues this year that have helped me put my priorities in order. The time to retire has arrived. I feel like I am going out at the top of my game. I could not ask for anything more. The last 23 years have been the very best of my entire work life. I have met and worked with some of the very best people in their respective industries. Many of my customers have become my close friends. Many of the energy consultants I have worked with have become my friends as well. The old saying is that if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life. For the past 23 years, I feel like I have never gone to work each day. I have always enjoyed the challenges that my job has presented and the opportunities I have been able to offer to my customers. While I will miss the interaction between myself and the customers/consultants, the time has come to focus on the really important things in life. Tammy and I now have two great grandchildren to love on and spoil just like we have done for our nine grandchildren. We are hopeful to have many more great grandchildren in the near future. Neither Tammy nor knew our great grandparents and we barely remember our grandparents. As our youngest grandchild is now 10 years old, we are assured that all of the grandchildren will always remember us. We want our great grandchildren to know us and remember us as well. We are already well on our way to that goal. I will miss my interactions with all of you. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to know and work with all of you. I wish you all the best in the future. You are all professionals and have been great to work with.
