You’ll find me jumping on a plane or driving the state highways of New Zealand making regular visits to the offices of insurance brokers & intermediaries. As their first point of contact I deliver chocolate and a smile, but also hold the underwriting pen to quote & bind risks across our motor insurance product lines. Often I’m called on to sort out a tricky issue or help negotiate a claim settlement. My creative side flourishes as editor of our quarterly magazine ‘The Hub’ which gets great feedback when distributed nationwide. I also spend a few weekends waving the Star flag and chatting to our customers at motorhome, caravan and car shows around the country. I’ve based myself in Southland where I live on a hobby farm and spend my weekends herding cows, chasing sheep and listening to my extensive music collection (I’ll happily show you my photo with Kylie Minogue).
