Jonathan Banahan’s Expertise I am part of a cutting-edge mission based team at GE. Our focus is margin expansion through understanding of cost inside our production environment and our suppliers supply chain as well as specific cost initiatives inside of Onshore Wind. Our projects can range from deep technical requirement assessments, data analysis, lean manufacturing, sourcing negotiations and everything in between. I have a deep technical design expertise that was developed by working in our Aviation turbo shaft engines. My experiences have included legacy T700 support, qualifying heavy lift T408, as well as designing new NPI for our ITEP offering. I have built domain expertise in the cold section of our turbines by owning compressor cases, impeller shrouds, blisks, and impellers. I have picked up tools such as CAD design, FEA analysis, drawing GD&T, project management, and EVM that aided me along the way. I am actively looking to apply my product cost knowledge along with my technical expertise to find growth opportunities in the future.
