  As you can probably already tell, I am a technologist, an agilist, and deeply passionate about information technology solutions and the people behind them. I am the founder and executive director of the Private Sector Group, LLC. I've been working specifically with enterprise Agile software development efforts in the federal space since 2010. Before that, I worked on and off for four years as an auditor for a then family-owned supply chain consulting firm while getting my degree in Information Sciences & Technology from Penn State University. I enlisted in the United States Army on December 17th, 2001 as a Signal Support Systems Specialist in the aftermath of September 11th. I served honorably and with distinction and was honorably discharged in June of 2006. In my time in the federal space, I have been incredibly successful in managing, designing and building information technology solutions. Some of my most notable efforts include a portfolio of solutions for the Energy Star program, as well as internally facing enterprise applications for the VA and consultancy/advisory projects for Sandia National Laboratories, USCIS and USPTO. In the last seven years, my focus has been on taking these experiences and success stories and sharing them with others in our industry. Through course instruction, training, workshops and consulting - I believe in the idea that the American public, and by extension, the federal government, have the right to access and use information technology solutions with the same or higher degree of quality and performance than what's standard in the private sector.
