  I have wanted to do nothing but program since high school. The thing that has always drawn me to programming is solving problems. I do this though knowledge that I have gained and through help from my colleagues. These problems are not always simple to solve, luckily breaking them down and solving the individual parts comes naturally to me, and I greatly enjoy solving these smaller problems (even though those can be hard too). I enjoy computer science, software development, and cryptography because the challenges are so diverse that I am always learning and understanding new things. I have been told that I see the big picture, in most matters throughout my life. Stepping into someone else’s shoes, and making sure that the project I am working on works for each intended user brings fulfillment that I can’t get in any other place. A position in the software industry would help me become a better learner. There would be a great opportunity to understand more about the ever increasing technology of the world. The amount of exploring that can be done in this sphere is so absurdly huge that I can't imagine ever getting bored, or saying that I know everything. One thing I aspire to do is have a room full of people that respect me and know that everyone in that room knows more than me about something. I currently attend the University of North Texas, and as a computer science major, with a specialty in cryptography. I will have a certificate in security once I get my degree, and will graduate under the honors college.
