While achieving my undergraduate degree, I was a member of an academic/mentoring program for youth in our local area while maintaining my responsibilities as chairman over a subcommittee within the organization. I also have spent years dedicating my time to education by volunteering in classrooms in the City of Norfolk. After college, I continued with my passion for education and children by becoming an assistant teacher at a head start program. However, there was no opportunity for growth with the program which lead me to venture out into insurance. Working with GEICO, I have obtained my insurance license in several states, been trained to work in a high speed work environment, and obtained two promotions with more responsibility within my first year working for the company. Because of my experience and education, I am undoubtedly able to complete tasks with proper training and support from my superiors, I am beyond capable of maintaining professionalism while creating relationships with my customers/student/parent, and that K am the epitome of a student; ready and willing to learn new things to help improve myself and the company.
