I’ve always enjoyed getting to know people and have a natural ability for establishing a rapport and trust that allows me to engage in discussions about personal matters in a relatable manner. My ability to successfully utilize these skills is what led me to this line of work. In my role as Relationship Banker with Wells Fargo, my primary role is to assist clients by recommending various deposit products and lending solutions that range from credit cards and personal loans to home equity lines of credit. For example, when discussing investments with a customer, I might also recommend discussions with partners that could assist with achieving those needs. I assist small business clients in much the same way, assisting with setting up accounts, discussing business needs, and recommending appropriate solutions. My average NPS scoring ranged from 80%-90%. The most important part of my job is listening empathically and careful observation. I find that clients tell you everything you need to know if you listen closely. I am then able to assess the information they share to determine their pain points, needs, and goals. Once I gather this information, I can provide solutions or suggestions. I have a reputation for prioritizing and caring for my clients. I take time to really get to know them. My care for my clients has resulted in genuine relationships where they actively seek me out whenever there is a question or information needed. That loyalty comes from relationships built on respect and trust, two vital components in retaining clients and achieving consistent growth.
