I continued by sharpening my skills as an educator and administrator; teaching, coaching, working as a school principal, athletic director and technology coordinator in a 1:1 setting. My initial role with SMART brought all three of my previous professions together providing me the opportunity to work as a Technical Training Specialist, providing technical training and assisting with content development for SMART's Channel and End-Users. I transitioned to the Channel Enablement team, in my second role, providing consultation services, technical support, developing content and conducting technical training during pre- and post-sales, as a Technical Solutions Consultant. As part of a handpicked team to revitalize training, in my next role with SMART, I acted as the technical project lead and Learning Management System (LMS) vendor manager for the Global Professional Learning team, cross-functionally developing, curating content for our business units, and creating eLearning as a Curriculum Developer and Instructional Designer. I continued as a Senior Program Manager and Learning Experience Designer, conceptualizing SMART's training programs, executing the training road map and liaising with the solutions development, marketing and sales teams to refine SMART training programs. In the second half of my career at SMART as the Manager, Global Professional Learning (GPL), I was responsible for leading a diverse group, tasked with defining the global vision and long-term training strategy for various audiences and personas.
