My working career continues thus in th enew company. I joined Tekla in early eighties as a student. My over 30 year career in Tekla contains several roles. I graduated 1984 from Helsinki University of Technology studying Finite Element Analysis. Started in Tekla as the main developer of Tekla's interactive TERA solution. Beginning of 90’s I joined the Xsteel development team where I was working first as a programmer. Later on I was acting also in services, marketing and sales. Since 2001 I have been working in Product Management, first as the head of the Global Requirement Management Team and after that as Product Manager first in Contractor segment and later on in PD segment. Since 2010 I have been working in my current position as the CIP Product Manager. During the last ten year I have had also a role in Tekla’s collaboration with construction industry and research organizations. I have been a member in steering groups of several research and development projects promoting BIM in Finnish and international construction Industry. Latest as the coordinator of Tekla's DRUM work package in RYM PRE research program and currently the manager and chairman of the steering group of DRUMBEAT, which is a large networked research and development project belonging to Tekes Witty City program.
