Justin Tan’s Expertise I have been involved in various banking projects since the year 2000 in the South East Asia especially in Singapore for the first 11 over years of my career. Most of my involvement were in the Banking and Financial Institutions domain specializing in Web Applications such as Teller System, Investment & Portfolio Management System, Loans Workflow, Credit Scoring, Risk Assessment System and also Core Banking replacement projects. I moved to NZ in May 2012 and since then have been working in various industries in Auckland as System, Business and Functional Analysts and recently back to the banking industry where I am mostly passionate about. I started my career from the technical background of programming and development. progressing to more leadership roles. I had also been in various roles working with outsourced vendors in most of my roles in the banks in Singapore. My skill sets includes analysis of system or business functions, business requirement gatherings, preparing and reviewing of specification document, organizing workshops and status updates meetings, business process workflows, testing, implementation and also supporting BAU operations. In my over 10 years in NZ, I have also embraced Agile methodology and performing daily activities such as performing analysis, user stories refinement, defining acceptance criteria, discussion with 3-Amigos, user playback sessions, sprint planning, automating testing, backlog refinement and many more. In my role as a Senior BA in Kiwibank from 2018 to 2021, I was exposed to various projects ranges from Kiwibank banking products and also ServiceNow platform such as HRSM, GRC, PPM and also the new OKR capabilities within ServiceNow. I practiced Agile methodology in many different ServiceNow platform, and other cloud based applications throughout the Enterprise Portfolio and Product team of Kiwibank such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365. I was particularly very interested in the OKR and strategic capabilities within the organization and the tools that can be used to report and monitor these. Currently, as a Senior BA in Westpac, I embraced playing more of mentoring tasks using agile methodologies and contributed in various projects ranges from Lending Origination and Customer Deposits and Term Investment products. Over the span of 20 years of my career in IT, I believed I have grown to be a natural leader with positive attitude and am always helping out to bring out the best of our team. Thus I think it's only natural for me to be given a chance for a more leadership role in my new opportunity.
