I have an excellent eye for color. I love mixing old and new things together and up-cycling. Became DM during my years at SampleHouse and Candleshop at two of their stores. Began at one store where I became a MGR and then also began managing a second store. I closed the first store and packed it up. Then became DM over two stores in DFW area. Responsible for hiring, firing staff and training. Handled money, petty cash, made sure each days paperwork balanced, sent all deposits, paperwork into main office, handled computer issues inc. keeping them running, clocking in/out of staff/, turning in weekly for payroll. Maintained wkly staff schedules at both stores. Delegated duties included: ordering store supplies such as gift bags, shred, tissue paper, tags, etc., every week. Checking in, pricing/putting out all new stock. Restocking daily. Holiday stock had to be held in stockroom. This job entailed very special merchandising skills, which I became quite adept at.
