He curently works as a Research Profesor at Tshwane University of Technology in the department of Environmetal Health. The candidate is currently C3 rated scientist as well as a grant holder under the NRF. He received career development award from the MRC for 2013 and 2014 cycle. He has published more than 18 papers in both accredited and non-accredited journals from his research focus areas covering Bio-aerosols, Air Quality, Food Safety and Environmental Radioactivity. Most of the projects conducted are done in partnership with local industrial partners and government bodies as well as some SADC countries (Botswana, Namibia and Lesotho) and international countries such as the USA, Nigeria and China. He is an affiliated member of scientific bodies such as American Aerosol Society, NEHA, SAAFOST, NACA, SASM, Indoor Air Society, SARPA and awaits SACNASP registration as a practicing scientist as from 2013.
