During my time in school, I worked on a research study benefiting Mexican American adolescent mothers and conducted my own in the same field. The experience I have gained from each of these positions, paired with my credentials as an university graduate contributes to my skills and disposition today. I am customer-oriented and seek to make the people I work with comfortable and safe. I am able to handle crises in a calm and professional manner. I work well independently and in teams. I am reliable with excellent time management. I use my situation awareness to make the best choice with rules and company guidelines in mind. I maintain a professional image. I also love to learn and seek opportunities to better myself. Most of all, the lifestyle of a Flight Attendant is unique and presents its own set of learning and growth opportunities. Not everyone can wake up at various times, be away from their loved ones, travel cross country, pass and maintain rigorous safety and service standards, and all while keeping a professional image. However, I see it as an opportunity to broaden my horizons and make me more culturally aware, helping others get to their own loved ones, keeping myself and my passengers safe, and being myself with a smile and a positive attitude so others will feel comfortable and at ease.
