In fact, my first job involved caring for pre-kindergarten children at an in-home daycare; couple that with my years of working with multiple families as a Nanny and Postpartum Doula. I received my Postpartum and Infant Care Doula Certification through ProDoula in 2022, and became a Certificated Lactation Educator Counselor through UC San Diego's Extension Program in 2021. I am now enrolled in UC San Diego's Pathway 2 Lactation Program, and am completing clinical hours at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. From the number of families I have helped and been in contact with, I can sympathize with the stress and anxiety the comes from welcoming a newborn, infant feeding, and adapting to a new family dynamic. Here's what I learned from helping families in different modalities: Parenting is not a one-size fits all, heck, it's barely a one-size fits most. So if your anxious or overwhelmed about becoming a new parent, while also needing to juggle work, older children, etc., I'm here to help you combat self-doubt and make that transition easier. I can only imagine how stressful and daunting it can be welcoming a new little one into your life. As a Postpartum Doula, I help my clients: - Strategize and build routines for sleep, feeding, and family - Assist with latch, pumping, and/or milk supply - Ensure parents are getting adequate sleep and nutrition - Encourage partners and siblings during transition with a newborn If you're a new or expecting parent who wants to create routines and successfully reach their infant feeding goals without sacrificing time and wellbeing, let's connect!
