I then founded Consultancy Matters LLC in 2007, as a financial training consultancy for corporate and investment bankers, regulators and academics, and I advised them also on management practices and training curricula on a global basis. I am also an Executive Coach. In 2016 I ran for political office in the USA and was elected as Trustee of Mamaroneck Municipality in New York State, with responsibility for a 40million budget and served as Police Commissioner, Fire Commissioner and Chair of the Finance Committee. I was re-elected for a second term before returning to the UK. I am a Business Honours Graduate from Edinburgh University (UK) and hold a Dean’s List award from The Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania (USA). Also, I was a member of the Global Council for Thunderbird School and an Executive in Residence and Director of the Thunderbird Global Risk Management Centre at the School. I returned to the UK in 2019 to live after 23 years living in the USA.
