The world's obstacles become our new challenges. During my college years I worked with various lithium-ion batteries and electric powertrains in aerial and terrestrial vehicles. My first opportunity came forth during my internship at Titan Aerospace (later acquired by Google) designing high-altitude solar-UAVs in a project-based environment. Afterwards, I joined the Solar Engineering Research Racing Team, manufacturing a solar vehicle capable of travelling 1700 miles in 8 days using only the power of the sun, later becoming Team Captain and Project Manager. As a Bright Green Environmentalist one of my main objectives is to convey the idea that sustainable energy is not something from the future, but at hands reach. I graduated in May 2016 from Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Project Management and I am determined to find new challenges working towards a sustainable future where new engineering ideas and technologies are used to improve our quality of life while also decreasing environmental impact. I am currently a hybrid-electric propulsion Development Test Engineer at General Motor's Global Propulsion Systems facility, and I'm actively pursing opportunities for graduate studies in energy systems.
