  Hello! I’m Khalid, I am an award winning visionary leader, systems disruptor and catalyst for change. My mission is to move equity from the margins to the centre of public policy and practice at all levels. I support organisations to build lasting, inclusive solutions that elevate underrepresented voices and drive systemic change. In every role I’ve held, whether in academia, community or government, advancing equity has been my primary focus. I have co-led research projects on food equity for migrant communities and supported the delivery of major health promotion investments that promote the health and wellbeing of thousands of young people across Victoria. My impact is widespread, I serve on several steering committees across community, non-profit and state government levels including for organisations such as Cohealth, The Y, Victorian Multicultural Commission, Culture Verse (Think HQ) and Merri-bek City Council. Fostering collaboration and innovation in public health is my passion. Whether it’s, strategic planning, research leadership or advocacy, I am committed to supporting organisations to better work with the communities they serve and have a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of all, especially those that are more likely to be excluded.
