Represent Animal Control Supervisor and assume lead role for field and office staff in their absence. • Assist with recruitment and training of field and office staff. • Exercise technical and functional supervision over lower level staff, including training of field and license canvassing officers. • Assist with formulating operational policies, programs, and procedures. Participate in budget preparation; Assist in annual program reports. • Establish contacts and maintain working relationships with other county departments. Confer with and advise other agencies and civic groups on animal care and control issues.
